Why Pandora's Box? The website name is based on the well-known Greek myth about a woman named Pandora. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create Pandora as a way of punishing man. Pandora was bestowed with many gifts from the heavens, but the most important of these gifts came from Zeus: the gift of a jar which must never be opened, and the gift of curiousity. Her curious nature led her to open the box, thus unleashing all the evils of the world, followed by a small fragment of hope. No one knows the ripple their actions may have, no matter how small, and you can never know what to expect when your curious nature bests you.
